Join Canvas N Chrome as we embark on a Road Trip that takes one on an adventurous trip to the Spiti Valley on the Old Hindustan-Tibet Road.
Day 1: Kufri via Shimla
Report at Chandigarh airport by 11 a.m. and Leave from Chandigarh and travel to Kufri via Simla. Overnight at Kufri.
*bikers may need to report at Chandigarh the previous day if they have parcelled their bikes to Chandigarh - to release the bikes and start the ride by 9:30 a.m.
Day 2: Sangla/Chitkul via Narkanda & Karcham
Drive to the gorgeous Sangla Valley and en Route see one of the largest dam over the Baspa River - The Karcham Wangtoo project
Day 3: Sangla Valley
One Day Excursion to last Indian Village of Nagasthi & Explore the Pea farms around Chitkul - The raging Baspa River is also an attraction
Day 4: Kalpa via Karcham & Reckong Peo
Cover the Suicide Point at Roghi and enjoy the stunning view of Kinner Kailash Mountain.
Day 5: Tabo
Drive to Tabo via Pooh, Kaa Zigs, Nako & Infamous Maling Nala - Try and spot a glimpse of Reo Purgyil - the highest mountain in Kinnaur. Explore the 1000 year old Tabo Monastery & if possible cover the Mummy at Gue Village
Day 6: Pin Valley National Park
Proceed to Mud village in Pin village & on the way back cover Dhankar monastery before halting for night at Kaza
Day 7: Local Sightseeing in Spiti
Cover Komic + Hikkim + Langza along with a day to relax in Kaza Market
Day 8: Local Sightseeing in Spiti
Cover Key Monastery & Kibber village along with Chicham Bridge (Asia's Highest Bridge)
Day 9: The Moon Lake - Chandratal
Drive to the famous Chandratal lake via Losar & Kunzum Pass
Day 10: Manali
Drive to Manali after battling the challenging Nalas at Chotta & Bada Dhara followed by the beautiful Rohtang Pass
Day 11: Trip Ends in Manali
SUV explorers take the evening Volvo for Chandigarh/Delhi as per choice.
Bikers can also choose to Parcel bikes by Road transport & exit to Chandigarh/Delhi by Volvo
