Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve or TATR as it is also popularly known is one of the Largest, Oldest & Unique Tiger Reserves in Maharashtra. It is a Southern Dry Deciduous type of Forest comprising of vast clusters of Bamboo along with big trees like Teak, Saal, Tendu etc

 

The presence of multiple water bodies within the reserve attract different species of birds and animals during the dry and hot summer season. The presence of a healthy population of Tigers in the reserve is its biggest attraction, however one can also see the other equally important inhabitants like the Sloth Bear, Spotted Deer, Sambhar Deer etc.

 

Apart from the big carnivores & herbivores, the park is home to a lot of Birds, Reptiles & Insects - some of which are now on the IUCN Threatened or Endangered list.

Detailed Itinerary:

 

3 days / 2 nights

 

Day 1

 

• Arrive in Nagpur by Early morning Flight OR by overnight train

• Transfer to Tadoba by A/c Innova/Xylo

• Freshen up & have lunch

• Proceed for 1st Jungle safari

• Arrive back from Safari & Freshen up

• Dinner

 

Day 2

 

• Morning & Evening Safaris would be the order of the Day

• Spend the rest of the day Relaxing in the Library or by the pool

 

Day 3

 

• We take our last morning safari in the jungle of Pench

• Arrive back to resort & freshen up and Check out

• Post Lunch, Depart for Nagpur Airport/Station in A/c Innova/Xylo

• Head back home with a wonderful Jungle Experience

Standard administrative charge of 10% of the cost of the trip

Between 45 - 30 days: 25% of the Trip Cost

Between 29 - 20 days: 50% of the Trip Cost

Between 19 - 10 days: 75% of the Trip Cost

Less than 9 days from date of departure: 100% of the Trip Cost
