Stok Kangri - The name has become synonymous with adventure seekers looking to add the challenge of a 6000+m summit to their list. Though dubbed as the easiest 6000mtr peak that can be trekked/climbed without any mountaineering qualifications, Stok Kangri is a fairly difficult graded trek.

The landscape of Ladakh is at disposal while on the trek with verdant meadows greeting a trekker at the lower camps and barren stunning landscape as one ascends to higher camp.

​

The highlight of the trek is the summit attempt which makes one challenge capabilities and surmount fears and needless to add the feeling of exaltation when one gets to the top is like being on top of the world.

Itinerary:

 

9 days / 8 nights

Day 1: Arrival & Acclimatization in Leh (11,400ft)

 

Day 2: Acclimatization in Leh

 

Day 3: Chang Ma via Stok village (13,087ft)

 

Day 4: Manokarma (14,200ft)

 

Day 5: Stok Kangri Base Camp (16,200ft)

 

Day 6: Rest & Acclimatization

 

Day 7: Summit & back to Base Camp (20,304ft)

 

Day 8: Stok village & back to Leh

 

Day 9: Check out and fly out of Leh

 

Notes:

 

Direct flights to Leh are available only from Delhi and the same usually take off very early in the morning. Guests flying to Leh will need to fly in to Delhi on the previous night and take the early morning DEL-IXL flight.

Cancellation Policy

 

Standard administrative charge of 10% of the cost of the trip

Between 45 - 30 days: 25% of the Trip Cost

Between 29 - 20 days: 50% of the Trip Cost

Between 19 - 10 days: 75% of the Trip Cost

Less than 9 days from date of departure: 100% of the Trip Cost
