WALK IN THE WILDERNESS / AL FRESCO

RIDE + TREK + CAMP AT HARSISHCHANDRAGAD VIA PACHNAI

Winter is one of the best times to Trek as well as Camp in the Sahyadris & that is precisely what we plan on doing this November!

The Magnificent & Huge fort of Harishchandragad with its rich history and gorgeous sights is easily accessible by a 2 hour hike & would be our target for this trekking and camping experience. To make things more interesting, We camp in the moonlight right on the Magnificent & Behemothic/Colossal/Belittling Konkan Kada soaking in the views & experiencing the meaning of the Word "Zen Moment".

If this sounds like an interesting way to spend your weekend, Join Canvas N Chrome as we head out to Harishchandragad on the 2nd weekend of November (11th & 12th)

Important Notes:

  • The Hike/Trek Endurance grade is Easy as it takes not more than 2.0hrs to get to the fort.

  • Wearing full clothes (Track pants + Full sleeve Shirt/Tshirt) is advisable – Prevents cuts & bruises while walking through the forest & also protects from insect bites.

  • Track pants advisable – Jeans can get uncomfortable on treks & also tend to soak & retain water if it rains, avoid as far as possible

  • Trekking/Sports shoes advisable – Covered feet provide safety from stubbing your toes on rocks, etc and also from insect/snake bite.

  • Extra Floaters/Footwear advisable – Sports shoes tend to open up/tear during treks through rain & having an extra pair of floaters helps.

  • A good torch is compulsory – In case of Emergency

  • 2 liters of water is compulsory
