The Kaas plateau blooms into a riot of colours (one or many) post the monsoon. September end or Oct beginning is the best time to visit and so we have arranged a trip to coincide with this phenomenon of bloom.

 

Visit the wind farm at Chalkewadi & enjoy a ride / drive through the curving mountain roads besides, of course, visiting the kaas plateau. :-)

We have planned a trip which takes care of the travel, sightseeing, food and anything else you may worry about. All you need to do is sign up and join in! ;-)

Itinerary:

 

Day 1:- 

• Meet and greet at Dadar East - Swami Narayan Temple @ 23.00hrs

• Depart for Satara/Kaas by Private Vehicle

 

Day 2:- 

• Arrive in Kaas by early morning and explore before the crowd starts pulling in

• Move ahead to Chalkewadi Wind farm to take in its raw beauty

• Late Lunch in Satara 

• Depart for Mumbai by early evening and arrive by 23.00hrs approximately

Our Belief System:

​

 

• Possession and/or consumption of Alcohol will not be permitted & flouting of this basic rule will lead to immediate expulsion from the group.

• Smoking will only be permitted after consultation with the group leader and the person will have to move away from the group to smoke. Smoking will only be permitted while we stop at a clearing and not otherwise.

• Playing of loud music disturbs co-travellers as weell as the environment and guests are requested to carry headphones shouldd they wish to listen to music.

• The leader’s decision will be final and binding on all members. 

• Each member will be responsible for his/her own safety and baggage.

• Please do not litter, we believe in the saying, “Leave only footprints, Take back only memories”

• Epecially at Kaas, avoid walking over the blooms or sitting on them to take photographs or selfies. Enjoying nature responsible while also allowing it to remain intact for other visitors should be the aim.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The bloom at Kaas is a natural phenomenon and cannot be predicted or guaranteed. The trip is planned to coincide with the historical blooming dates but we cannot guarantee the flowering. It is subject to weather and natural elements.

Between 45 - 30 days: 35% of the Trip Cost

Between 29 - 20 days: 65% of the Trip Cost

Between 19 - 10 days: 85% of the Trip Cost

Less than 9 days from date of departure: 100% of the Trip Cost
