The feather in the cap however is the tiny flowers of myriad colours that dot the landscape in full bloom and certain species that are only endemic to that region!
Join Canvas N Chrome as we head out to Kaas to take in its beauty in full glory.
Stok Kangri - The name has become synonymous with adventure seekers looking to add the challenge of a 6000mtr summit to their list. Though dubbed as the easiest 6000mtr peak that can be trekked/climbed without any mountaineering qualifications, Stok Kangri is a fairly difficult graded trek.
The highlight of the trek is the summit attempt which makes one challenge their own capabilities and surmount their inner fears and needless to add the feeling of exaltation when one gets to the top is like being on top of the world.
Join Canvas N Chrome as we embark on this thrilling expedition to summit Stok Kangri in September 2017.
Mountain passes have been in use since many centuries by traders & shepherds alike and connect different villages & regions together - One such pass is Hampta pass which connects the Kullu valley with Lahaul valley in Himachal Pradesh.
The trek can be best described as a mixed bag as it allows one to experience the stark difference with the gorgeous green meadows of the Kullu valley & the stunning barren browns of the Lahaul Spiti valley. The easy to moderate grade of the trek makes it the ideal choice for first timers as well as experienced trekkers to come along and take in the beauty of the majestic mountains.
And keeping with 'The Best for Last' - the visit to Chandratal lake with an option to take in the full beauty of the lake in the almost full moonlight will be an experience to remember.
